Which First Ladies Have You Admired?
Michelle Obama is celebrating her 50th birthday today and is known for many things besides her intelligence, poise and beauty, including her creations of the White House garden, the Let's Move! program and Joining Forces with Dr. Jill Biden in support of military families.
The FLOTUS is less well known for her White House mentoring program for girls, where disadvantaged girls are paired with some of the most powerful women in the country. A mentoring program for boys was later established.
Obama said she became interested in the power of mentoring as a corporate lawyer in Chicago. Michelle frequently cites her #1 job as "Sasha and Malia's Mom." But we also know her as wife and First Lady:
But she's also a gardener who cleans up real good!

Happy 50th Birthday, Michelle Obama!
